Next up in our employee profile series is our Account Director, Josh Pauletic. Upon reading, we guarantee you’ll be looking for him at the next marketing networking event so you can ask about all his past jobs.
What did you do before starting with FiveFifty?
I was an account manager and media planner / media buyer at a longstanding, Denver based media agency. I managed restaurant and government accounts, ie Gordon Biersch, Rock Bottom, Old Chicago, Colorado Dept. of Public Health & Environment, and Colorado QuitLine. I also contributed to new business efforts.
What has surprised you most about working for FiveFifty?
FiveFifty provides a great environment for having fun and learning new skills. We are allowed to be ourselves and enabled to produce quality work. Innovation is encouraged. I have heard other companies say these things, but few actually follow through like FiveFifty does.
What might someone be surprised to know about you?
In addition to the jobs listed above, I have also worked on a potato farm in Montana, detasseled corn in Minnesota, washed dishes, waited tables, worked in Yellowstone National Park, changed oil, washed cars, cashiered, stocked shelves, ran a painting franchise, managed the business function of a college newspaper, worked in a warehouse, and sold outdoor advertising (billboards / transit ads).
How do you spend your free time?
I enjoy golfing and have a goal of bringing my average < 90. I like to ride my bike, try new restaurants and breweries, go fishing, snowboard, and get away to the mountains.
What do you wish other people knew about FiveFifty?
We have a smart and effective team, and we are fun to work with. I look forward to more brands and agencies adopting programmatic media buying as the norm.
How would your friends describe you?
Hard working, reliable, trustworthy, sarcastic, and handsome, so handsome.
