Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Intern

FiveFifty is seeking highly motivated individuals for our Summer Internship program. This is a part-time internship opportunity for about 15-20 hours a week. We are looking for interns eager to learn and execute a variety of tasks related to Search Engine Optimization (SEO).

During this program, interns will develop a strong understanding of SEO best practices and strategies. You will learn how to analyze data and make optimizations to continually improve campaign performance and communicate those changes effectively to clients.

As an intern, you will also be exposed to other areas of digital marketing, including programmatic media buying and Pay-Per-Click (PPC) advertising. This position is a great opportunity for someone looking for experience in the exciting field of digital marketing.

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or recently graduated with a strong academic record in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Passion for SEO and internet marketing
  • Outstanding ability to think both analytically and creatively to identify and solve problems
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proven ability to effectively multitask in a deadline driven atmosphere
  • Excellent organizational, project management, and time management skills
  • Ability to self-manage while juggling multiple priorities
  • Excellent ability to communicate effectively; must be able to articulate and distill key ideas for a non-analytical audience
  • High levels of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation

Bonus Points for:

  • Google Analytics Certification
  • Experience with Google Analytics, SEMRush, Moz Pro, Screaming Frog, and other SEO tools
  • Experience with WordPress, Drupal, and other CMS platforms
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS/Javascript
